Vision & Mission
What We Are Trying to Achieve
CIDA, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization, is an alliance of families and community partners. Our primary mission is to increase equity and inclusion opportunities for children and families with exceptional needs including disabilities, language and cultural barriers, and socioeconomic challenges. To achieve this mission, CIDA strengthens the capacity of the entire community by providing parent training and support, advocacy, inclusive community programs and workforce development projects. CIDA also collaborates with various levels of community stakeholders and partners and uses innovative approaches for the inclusion of individuals with all abilities and diverse backgrounds.
We envision that all individuals and families will live self-determined lives and contribute to all aspects of the community.
