Disability Resource Navigator for Preparing Adult Life:
Focusing on the Needs of Persons with Developmental Disabilities
Community Inclusion & Development Alliance (CIDA) is pleased to introduce Disability Resource Navigator for Preparing Adult Life. The purpose of developing this guide is to provide the essential service resources to young people with developmental disabilities and their families in New York. The information included in this guide will help families understand the disability service systems and navigate support in the early stages of adulthood.
CIDA’s primary missions are to strengthen the capacity and to increase the inclusion opportunities of individuals with disabilities. We wish that this guide will help individuals make progress towards post-secondary goals related to education, employment, and independent community living as they make smooth transitions to adult life.
CIDA would like to acknowledge Korean American Community Foundation (KACF) for funding support in the development of this guide.
